where's the sun gone???????

Well folks, finally I have set up my new sewing machine and run up something simple but quite effective. My seams are not even at all or whatsoever. It took a bit of fiddling but I finally got there :) Im sooooo looking foward to having more time to do bigger and better projects. Christmas is going to be soooo much fun this year :)

My new books :) two sewing books and two crochet.  Now all I need is time to actually make something from them lol

Hi to anyone who notices this post.  I am back, bigger and better than ever :)  Today I brought home a very early birthday present from my mum.  thanks mum.  My mum has bought me a, drum roll please............................................... a sewing machine :) its a janome 2050 and I am very excited about using it.  I have only just taken it out of the box, it has not been set up yet.  I think I will leave that till I have more time to actually pay attention to what Im doing.  So watch this space.  Im expanding from just doing paper crafts to sewing projects :)

hi folks, I just wanted to post my apologies to those who were doing the calendar challenge. Unfortunately due to personal reasons last year I never did finsish the challenge. If anyone wants me to finish the challenge then please ask and if there is enough response I will finish it starting with July as Ive done up to June. I look forward to posting regularly again T x

calendar challenge June

Wow half way through the year already. I hope you ladies are still enjoying doing this challange, I know Im way behind but I have every intention of getting back to doing this calendar soon as well as photographing what Ive done so far and post how Im getting on. Now June is half way through the year and is brought in with the star sign gemini, which is as we know is the twins. So I think the theme for june should be the number 2!.

Ive just come down from the Isle of Skye :)

I just wanted to share with you, my favourite picture of my bike taken whilst coming home from and absolutely fantastic weekend away with a great bunch of people on our motorbikes. It was taken at eilean donan castle and its just a stunning background.

First of all we camped in the field that was someones garden, we were invited lol.

There was a great party that night. We then moved onto a campsite in skye where even more biker friends arrived and there was another party lol. Admittedly I was very tired when I got home but it was all soooo worth it. Roll on the next weekend away lol

To follow on nicely from April and hopefully the April showers brought May Flowers the theme of May is 'Flowers' So use your flowers big and small in abundance.
